The races for Excelsior Cup were sailed yesterday in a light and shifty ENE’ly. It was great to see some new faces and 2 Contenders out on the water.
The results were announced as “provisional” as there were a few problems encountered while formulating the results. After careful review the final results are now available. There are some slight changes to what was announced yesterday – chiefly that the handicapper DID NOT actually win the event! Congratulations to Neil Lestor and Graeme Dobson for winning the event after sailing well all day.
Congratulations to Harry Cuneo. The youngest skipper in the fleet at 13 and a commendable mid-fleet finish.
