Ted Rice Shield – results

SYC raced the Ted Rice Shield on Sunday in a south-westerly breeze which was odd for this time of year. It was a light and hot breeze and being an offshore breeze had a lot of variance in direction. There was also a lot of tidal movement probably added to the amount of water running out of the creeks and river.
The Contenders struggled in the light breezes, but Neil and Graeme enjoyed conditions that they excel in. The breeze started to fil in and by the end of the day there was enough to suit Greg and Chris, but unfortunately still not enough for the Contenders to get up and boogey.

Well done to Harry and Tanisha in some very difficult conditions.

Next race is 13 April for the return of the Anzac Memorial trophy after many many years.
