7 boats took to the water yesterday to compete for the Ted Rice Shield. There were 3 505’s, 3 Flying Fifteens and an International Canoe.
2 races were run in grey, overcast and tricky Southerly conditions. The course was set with the PRO and start boat in SW’ly winds while the top of the course was experiencing SSE’lies. Following race 1, the course was adjusted, but again there was a slight variation in breeze over the course.
Thanks to the volunteers who made the day possible.
Next event is the Excelsior Cup on May 22.
