Day 2 delivered far more manageable conditions, with lighter north‑easterly breezes gradually building through the morning. The Race Committee successfully completed three races, providing the fleet with competitive and enjoyable sailing after a challenging opening day.
One team stood out across the board—Chris and Mark from Lake Macquarie Yacht Club, who sailed consistently and impressively to claim victory in all races over the series. Congratulations on a dominant performance.
It was a pleasure to welcome sailors back to Sandgate and to reconnect with so many familiar faces. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.
